Cook / Chef

We are looking for a Cook to prepare and serve hot food, including various types of breakfast and brunch items 

candidate responsibilities include educating customers on our food menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how cooking equipment operates. You should also be able to work various shifts.

Ultimately, you’ll ensure an excellent food experience for our guests.

We are looking to hire an efficient person to welcome customers, and look after them with a friendly face, explaining menu items to customers and answering their questions, and helping to unload food supplies from deliveries. 

You should also be able to work in a team to complete large orders in a timely manner.

To be successful as a member of our team , you should demonstrate transparency and account for all food items used to prepare customers' orders. Ultimately, an outstanding team member should display exceptional customer service skills and warmly interact with customers while completing orders to create a pleasant experience.
 

• pay attention to people's allergies and needs and try to avoid cross contamination 
• Prepare food following recipes
• Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffin
• Keep the bar area clean
• Maintain stock rotation and daring of products
• Check if cooking equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items

• Previous work experience as a cook or chef 
• Hands-on experience with breakfast and brunch cooking techniques 
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations
• Flexibility to work various shifts (weekends are a must or applications wont be considered)
• Basic math skills
• Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
• Excellent communication skills
• High school diploma; relevant training is a plus

Sandwich Artist Requirements:

• High school diploma 
• Proven experience working in a fast-food restaurant, deli, or similar environment.
• The ability to follow verbal instructions.
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• The ability to work effectively under stress.
• Strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
