Located in the historic Rocks district between the Sydney Opera and Harbour Bridge, our hotel offers 564 spacious and inspired luxury guests’ rooms and suites, four food & beverage outlets including Altitude our signature restaurant.We are looking for passionate and eager individuals with at least 2 years' experience within an upmarket a la carte Restaurant or 5 Star Hotel operation.Responsibilities:
- Contribute to food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Collaborate in crafting new menus and dishes.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Communicate repair needs promptly.
- Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Optimize kitchen item rotation and usage.
- Assist in controlling food cost and minimizing wastage.
- Follow portion control and recipes diligently.
- Attend training programs and adhere to the weekly roster.
- Follow instructions from Chef de Partie and assist in other kitchen outlets as needed.
- Fine dining or luxury 5-star experience.
- A passion and a heart for Hospitality and Culinary is essential.
- Excellent communications skills whilst able to work in a busy environment, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
