An opportunity is now available for a Knowledge Broker to work within the Tropical North Queensland Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hub.
- Full-time; fixed-term to June 2025
- Academic Level C - $125,527 - $144,104 per annum plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits
- Based at either the Townsville, Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas or the Cairns Nguma-bada campus, Smithfield.
- Provide leadership in knowledge management, communications management and capacity development to the Tropical North Queensland Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hub.
- Promote interaction between knowledge users and knowledge generators as well as to develop capacity for evidence-informed decision making,
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to build and facilitate links between end users, researchers, policy makers, companies and Indigenous organisations by developing a mutual understanding and respect of goals and cultures.
- Link and collaborate with end users to identify issues and problems for which solutions are required, and aid to facilitate the identification, access, assessment, interpretation, and translation of research evidence into local policy and practice.
