We have an exciting opportunity to join our City Services Division as a Coordinator Asset Intelligence. This role provides an opportunity to work in a leadership capacity in local government, leading and developing a formal data quality framework, focusing on sustaining the asset condition data profile to support Asset Lifecycle management activities.
This opportunity will suit someone who has experience in data management tools, data modelling, and proven successful creation and implementation of asset predictive modelling tools or applications.
The main responsibilities are but not limited to coordinating compliance activities such as asset condition audits, proactive asset inspections holding a key role in administering the Road Management Act delivery, practice and compliance.
Leading a small team of asset management professionals, the role will guide, coach and support the team to ensure efficient and effective work approaches are in place. The role will also drive a continuous improvement ethos and lead change in alignment with the broader vision.
To be considered for the role you will have:
- Experience in data management tools, data modelling, quality and cleansing, governance, integration, security and privacy, and data integration.
- Proven successful creation and implementation of asset predictive modelling tools or applications.
- Strong relationship-building skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing technical briefs and reports, business cases, long term (10 year) asset funding requirements and capital works programs.
- Proven capability to lead and manage a multi-disciplinary professional team including mentoring and coaching, setting goals, driving results and monitoring success in the delivery of high-quality programs within time and budgetary constraints.
