Position overview
This newly created position will coordinate all aspects of the Certificate ofPostgraduate Training in Clinical Psychiatry (the Certificate) with one direct report.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight and provision of timely and accurate advice and communications to key stakeholders regarding Certificate regulations, policies and procedures.
- Supervise and provide support to the Administrator, Certificate of Post Graduate Training in Clinical Psychiatry position.
- Development of briefing papers, relevant reports and recommendations for the Certificate.
- Coordination of marketing activities for the Certificate, including but not limited to engagement with other Specialist Medical Colleges and attendance at conferences to promote the program.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Digital Education Services to identify improvements for online administration systems and coordinate implementation of system updates.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in health, tertiary student administration, education, or postgraduate education or membership-related role.
- Experience in Project Management, high-level administration and process improvement.
- Sound understanding of the Australian health system or post-graduate medical education, or specialist medical training.
- Excellent organisational skills including the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, establish priorities, and work to tight and competing deadlines.
- Eligibility Requirement: Applicants must be either an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen.
