About the role The Coordinator City Workforce Services is a new role based in Bundall- Gold Coast, supporting a newly formed team who will be accountable for a team of embedded resources who are responsible for supporting people related activities within the organisation. The position will report to the Manager People and Culture Delivery. We’re looking for people who have: Collaborative leadership and people management skills and proven experience in motivating staff members and senior leadership groups to achieve organisational objectives. The ability to support the development of self and others in line with individual’s aspirations, growth and business needs. The ability to lead by example as a strong communicator, displaying personal behaviours in line with the City’s values and taking accountability for the team’s performance. The practice of initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and embedding an initiative, product, program, campaign or change to achieve a set of objectives or outcomes (for customers, employees, the organisation and/or the market). This role is accountable for the following:Leading a large cross-functional team of resources across multiple business units on people related activities.Ensure delivery of agreed embedded HR related activities that are required for business delivery.Create a safe environment where people are engaged in the work, motivated to deliver, and feel part of a highly effective team where it is safe to take up your role and raise concerns.Manage the performance of critical business relationships and outcomes.Be part of shaping the Gold Coast’s futureThe Gold Coast is inspired by lifestyle and driven by opportunity.
