THE POSITION
The Workforce Coordinator will support the learning and delivery of Country to Coast QLD’s (CCQ) education program activities and other CCQ events.
The role is responsible for supporting the delivery of high quality and evidence-based continuing professional development (CPD) to primary health care professionals via face to face and virtual formats. The role will develop partnerships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders while coordinating participatory and engaging educational and other types of events.
The Coordinator will apply a knowledge of adult learning theory to support the development a multi-modal curriculum that meets the the CPD requirements of primary health care clinicians and alignment with the strategic goals of CCQ.
Part-time Temporary/Contract 3 days per week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate end to end planning for CPD activities across a range of formats including face-to-face workshops, conferences, online learning, forums, exhibitions and webinars
• Build key internal and external stakeholder relationships relevant to workforce development, education, events, communications and marketing
• Drive efficient event management practice and program evaluation through program management methods and the proactive use of the customer relationship management system
• Develop and implement guidelines and procedures to support high quality event planning, delivery and evaluation
• Act as a key liaison point between educators, speakers, key stakeholders and participants
• Organise logistics for face-to-face events including booking venues, catering, equipment and managing workflow, event budgets and the registration and attendance process

• Configure the layout of virtual events through the selection and use of online platforms that support access to events from any device at any time
• Coordinate the delivery and development of high quality online learning offerings through CCQ’s Learning Management System.
• Manage the schedules and events for the clinical societies and communities of practice in your region
• Confirm CPD activities meet the relevant accreditation standards
• Undertake activities to promote awareness of program and other CCQ activities
• Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in processes, practices and technologies used in program design and delivery to improve uptake and value.
• Write performance and evaluation reports as required for internal and external purposes
• Complete other reasonable duties as required.
ESSENTIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Tertiary qualifications - degree, advanced diploma or diploma level qualification in events, education, communications, and/or marketing.
• Advanced computer literacy – including Microsoft Office skills
• Motivates self - proven ability to work autonomously across a variety of projects with a small tight-knit team.
• Coordinates Events - demonstrated experience in leading and delivering online and face to face event logistics including scheduling promotions, speaker engagement, venue hire, catering, participant surveys and participant recruiting.
• Understands virtual logistics - demonstrated knowledge of virtual event platforms.
• Engages with stakeholders - proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, peoples and communities and supporting culturally safe practices.
• Knowledge of and commitment to Work Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, Cultural Safety, and Continuous Improvement principles
Desirable
• Communication skills - a confident communicator capable of speaking in front of small and large groups in a professional and engaging manner.
• CRM management - Experience managing dynamic customer relationship management systems including Salesforce
