Workforce Development Coordinator (Employment Services)

We are currently seeking a full-time Workforce Development Coordinator based in Maryborough to join our National Sales team.

Workforce Development Coordinators (WDCs) lead the way in identifying, meeting and adapting to the needs of employers and across a range of industries, a key element of OCTEC’s service delivery model. The placement of our jobseekers into work is dependent on the development of relationships of trust with employers based on the provision of high quality services and the demonstration of strong industry knowledge. WDCs build these relationships of trust, operating at both a broad industry liaison level and a one-on-one sales level.

Duties include but are not limited to: 

• Employer engagement regarding vacancies, skilling of workforces and opportunities for work experience
• Working with employers to meet their individual needs using OCTEC's market leading tools including our Biz Support packages 
• Upskilling and supporting participants.
