Fixed-term temporary appointment commencing 3 May 2024 until 2 May 2026 with possible further fixed term and/or permanent appointment.
Central Regional TAFE is responsible for delivering customer focused, industry aligned training and pathways to higher education to build a skilled, productive and employment ready workforce. We deliver 185 courses to 10,000 students each year in the Mid West region - Geraldton, Batavia Coast Maritime Institute and Technology Park, the Gascoyne region - Carnarvon and Exmouth, the Goldfields region - Kalgoorlie and the Wheatbelt region - Northam, Merredin and Moora.

About the role
The Commercial Business Coordinator will coordinate education and training programs including short courses in accordance with the College's training and education parameters and appropriate quality standards. They will consult with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that programs are innovative, flexibly delivered and meet the expectations of student and clients in regional Western Australia. The Commercial Business Coordinator will ensure that course delivery is planned, monitored and implemented in line with the Delivery and Performance Agreement. They must provide customer-focused service to all clients and that detailed course advice and information is available. The Commercial Business Coordinator will plan fee-for-service delivery in conjunction with the College's commercial entities. They will promote clients, business and community members to achieve commercial targets.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in vocational education and training; have strong consultancy skills and the ability to build and maintain stakeholder engagement.
