The Opportunity: Newly Created Role!
This is an exciting opportunity that will see you taking ownership of the design and construct space across Western Australia. It is an end-to-end project sales position, and a role that will be responsible for driving, negotiating and securing key commercial partnerships. Some of the industries that you will be targeting include commercial fit out, education, healthcare and public open spaces – including council work.
A key requirement will be to build, develop and secure exceptional client relationships with both the commercial contractors – electricians and builders. Tracking projects, managing times lines, budgets and design concepts will be essential. Equally important for this will be your ability to work closely with the internal teams to negotiate and secure orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track, negotiate and secure commercial project opportunities across the design and construction sector – Electricians and Builders.
- Work closely with the internal team to price, quote and manage deadlines.
- Deliver product training and ongoing knowledge development for clients.
- Negotiate sales tenders and prepare customer quotations.
- Negotiate, win and ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
Key Requirements:
- A background in commercial sales within the building and construction sector.
- Lighting industry, design and construct sales experience, or an electrician looking to get off the tools would be highly regarded.
- Exceptional influencing, relationship-building, and time-management skills.
- Detail orientated with the ability to multitask.
- A team player with leadership qualities – you will be the go-to person for the sales team!
