About the Role
The Business and Innovation Branch develop and optimise Council's business opportunities to deliver value in both its strategic and operational activities by investing wisely through sound procurement and contracting practices.
The Coordinator Contract and Supply Services provides leadership and management to the Contract and Supply Services team and internal partners to effectively maintain a contract administration framework, including a comprehensive contracts database, and a supply administration framework, including a supply and purchasing reporting system.
- Provide leadership and management to the Contract and Supply Services Team and internal partners on the Contract and Supply administration functions.
- Support the branch in providing an organisational wide procurement and contracting framework, including sound governance processes and an effective probity environment.
- Support the branch by providing a seamless integration between this team and other teams in the Business and Innovation Branch.
- Develop and implement innovative and best practice strategies, plans, policies and guidelines for the Contract and Supply administration functions.
- Other Contract and Supply duties as per the Position Profile.
This position is based at the Sunshine Coast City Hall, in the heart of Maroochydore CBD. This state of the art and sustainable building is designed to achieve an innovative and collaborative workspace.
About you
As a Coordinator in Contracts and Supply, you will have substantial high-level experience and a record of achievement in contract lifecycle management, contract negotiation and compliance management.
You will have strong leadership skills and experience to lead and empower others and foster a workplace culture consistent with Council’s corporate values.
You will possess high level interpersonal and communication skills with high level interpersonal and communication skills with.
As a requirement of this role, you will possess a Bachelor’s degree in the legal, financial or commerce fields, and/or substantial equivalent experience in a medium or large organisation. Post graduate qualification desirable.
