Our Malanda based team is currently seeking a proficient and knowledgeable Coordinator to oversee our Construction & Contracts team on a full-time permanent basis. The Coordinator Construction & Contracts is responsible for providing project management and delivery of road and bridge construction, renewal and maintenance activities on Tablelands Regional Council’s (TRC) sealed and unsealed road network, including the coordination of capital and maintenance contract works.
The Coordinator Construction & Contracts is to work in close consultation with the Coordinator Maintenance to ensure effective and efficient delivery of TRC roads maintenance, renewal and project activities. At a functional level the Coordinator Construction & Contracts is responsible for and supervises the delivery of construction, renewal and maintenance activities and projects on:
• Sealed and unsealed roads Including road pavement markings
• Bridges and major culverts
• Minor culverts and associated end structures
• Roadside vegetation and signage
• Road Maintenance activities on state-controlled roads within agreed intervention levels under the Road Maintenance Performance Contract (RMPC)
• Other services & functions that may be added from time to time.
