About the role
Moorabool Shire is experiencing significant growth in land developments and the Coordinator Infrastructure Development is a key leadership role in Engineering Services ensuring new Council assets “gifted” from these developments and subdivisions meet approved standards, guidelines, and strategies.
You will work closely with the Strategic and Statutory Planning departments in the assessment and conditioning of new developments.
The community will look to you to advocate for positive outcomes with new developments to protect existing lifestyles and amenity in the shire that align with Councils strategic directions.

About you
You will have a relevant tertiary degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (from an appropriately recognised institution), together with extensive and diverse experience in Local Government and a demonstrated understanding of the Local Government Act and the Subdivisions Act relevant to Victoria.
The successful applicant will provide leadership to the team, constantly looking for improvement opportunities and being a source of knowledge and experience in technical areas. We are seeking someone who has the ability to co-ordinate, guide and influence others and lead, motivate, develop, coach and support staff to produce a high performing team that delivers excellent outcomes with a customer service approach.
