At Corangamite Shire Council we are looking for a dynamic and collaborative leader with a passion for delivering exceptional early years services. This role requires a skilled individual capable of coordinating staff, programs, policies, and resources effectively. What you will do:
Responsible for leading and mentoring our Kindergarten Educators and Nominated Supervisors. Your role will involve:
- Mentoring and Support: Guiding staff to enhance their skills and service quality.
- Engagement: Fostering strong relationships with families and the community.
- Development: Elevating educator capacity and service standards in line with Council, State, and Commonwealth guidelines and regulations.
You will ensure compliance with ACECQA, DET requirements, Child Safe Standards, Reportable Conduct Scheme, MARAM, NQF, EYLF, and VEYLDF. Collaboration is a focus of this role, working closely with the Coordinator Family Day Care and Child Care and the Coordinator Compliance as #oneteam to ensure seamless service delivery, supporting the well-being and growth of children, families, and communities across the Shire.

What you can bring:
- Tertiary qualifications (or equivalent) in early childhood education and care
- A current VIT card
- A strong understanding of relevant policy, frameworks, reforms, procedures and guidelines used within Early Childhood Education and Care and associated government regulations, precedents and guidelines involved.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and capacity to problem solve.
- Ability to develop and effectively monitor budgets, undertake financial modelling to inform service planning and contribute to Councils annual budget process.
