The Health and Wellbeing Coordinator has overall responsibility for leading the development, implementation and improvement of the City of Gold Coast’s employee Health and Wellbeing services. As the key leader of a multi-disciplined team the Health and Wellbeing Coordinator is responsible for partnering and collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver an evidence-based Health and Wellbeing plan consisting of a range of initiatives based on the holistic Health and Wellbeing of City employees, that enables employees to thrive in a high-performance culture.
The Health and Wellbeing Coordinator role is a leadership role within the City’s Work Health and Safety Branch and is pivotal in planning, implementing and evaluating innovative initiatives that enhance and improve Health and Wellbeing by fostering a workplace culture that prioritises healthy connected employees and physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
The role will focus on the development of The City’s wellbeing programs in partnership with key stakeholders that will embed Health and Wellbeing into our culture as an essential part of our business strategy.
About your new role
As our Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality services to our multi-disciplined team. Here's some of what you'll be responsible for:
- Providing high-level leadership to ensure the delivery of organisation-wide Health and Wellbeing services.
- Developing and leading our employee Health and Wellbeing plan, shaping the future of wellness at The City of Gold Coast.
- Managing and delivering workplace wellbeing programs, both face-to-face and online, to meet our program goals.
- Partnering with leaders to drive engagement with Health and Wellbeing initiatives.
- Collating, monitoring, and analysing wellbeing data to refine strategy and deliver impactful solutions.
- Integrating Health and Wellbeing into various aspects of the employee experience, fostering a culture of wellness.
- Coordinating health promotion activities and educational programs in partnership with Learning and Development.
- Proactively identifying and managing risks related to employee wellbeing.
