About the Assignment
The primary objective of this position is to provide coordination of workforce health and wellbeing initiatives and programs across Santos as well as supporting the office of the Chief Medical Officer.
Health & Wellbeing
- Support the Health and Wellbeing team in implementation of the Health and Wellbeing strategy and assist with health and wellbeing projects and implementation of key initiatives.
- Support the team with administrative duties including invoicing, presentation packs and reporting.
- Maintain fit for purpose corporate standards, procedures, tools and guidance documents for health and wellbeing.
- Provide assistance and advice in developing and arranging health promotions and wellbeing activities.
- Research of best practice Health & Wellbeing programs and assist with development of business plans for new initiatives where relevant and applicable within the Healthier Santos framework.
- Support the development of an action plan regarding psychosocial safety and provide ongoing support to manage once implemented.
- Provide support to manage the Employee Assistance Program.
- Maintain, update, and evaluate the Healthier Santos platform.
Medical Support:
- Support the Santos Chief Medical Officer to ensure consistent, fit for purpose medical support across Santos, injury management/fitness for work/return to work.
- Support medical processes including periodic and travel medicals to ensure fitness for work for office and site-based personnel including personal and occupational injury and illness management.
- Receive, store and maintain confidential electronic data on the health records platform including health monitoring data from the health surveillance program.
- Oversee medical records management to ensure regulatory compliance.
About You
Your key skills and experience includes:
- Experience working in health promotion, corporate health and wellbeing or medical in the oil & gas, resources or chemical industries
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills including effective communications across multiple levels of an organisation
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships across different levels of an organisation
- Preferred experience in administration, customer services or support functions
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
Mandatory Tickets / Quals / Certs
- Tertiary quals in Health Science, Health Promotion or Allied Health
