Resthaven Leabrook Residential Services are seeking a Coordinator of Hospitality Services. About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Site Manager, you are responsible for ensuring a quality hospitality service is provided to residents by developing and monitoring work practice standards that focus on quality outcomes and continuous improvement including:
- Ensuring the provision of quality hospitality service meals to residents, maintaining compliance with food safety standards
- Participating in the development of your sites budget requests and monitoring expenditure, with effective and efficient use of resource
- Coordinating provision of cleaning services and maintenance in accordance with required standard
- Coordination of housekeeping staff and duties
- Ensuring current knowledge of legislation, work practice and contemporary hospitality practices
- Full Time, permanent role: Monday to Friday 0800 to 1600
About you:
- Experience in the coordination of Hospitality Services
- Proven ability to coordinate and lead a range of staff
- Knowledge and experience with food safety legislation
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and to be flexible to satisfy competing demands
- Experience in stock control and in ordering stock
- Previous experience in managing housekeeping services in the aged care sector or hospitality industry is preferred (but not essential)
