The Coordinator Property Services role is responsible for providing strategic and operational direction on the management and maintenance of the City of Charles Sturt’s extensive and diverse property portfolio. This position has the opportunity to shape and leverage the future of our property assets to ensure sustainable services and facilities to our community.
About you
The successful candidate will display a broad skill set. Ideally, candidates will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in a leadership role managing Property Services (commercial property management, property maintenance and scheduling, and project delivery);
- Acumen to drive the strategic management of extensive property portfolios;
- A strong commercial background with an appreciation for the importance of providing community focused outcomes;
- A values-based people leadership approach, with a strong focus on building a culture of achievement and collaboration within your team; and
- An understanding of the asset lifecycle with the ability to implement systems to ensure the maintenance of our properties.

About the Team
The Open Space, Recreation and Property Portfolio develops, manages and implements policy, strategic plans, asset management plans and capital works programs relating to open space, environmental management, recreation, urban design, property management and maintenance across our City. As a key part of the Portfolio, our Property Services Business Unit presently manage and maintain Council’s extensive building network that includes:
- Sporting clubrooms
- Commercial Buildings
- Independent Living Units
- Council Occupied (Civic) Buildings
- Libraries
- Community Centres
- Community halls; and
- Public toilets.
The finer details
This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, and is classified at Level 8, with a salary range of $126,088 - $134,427 per annum + Super + Annual Leave Loading. There is also the option to access a fully maintained vehicle via salary sacrifice, and flexible work arrangements are available.
