The Opportunity
Leading a team of International Admissions Officers, you'll provide guidance and advice to applicants, colleagues, and education agents, while ensuring a seamless application to acceptance journey. You will be our subject matter expert in relation to the Australian Government’s genuine temporary entrant (GTE) and genuine student (GS) criteria and shape business rules to quickly respond to changes. You will
Oversee a wide range of International Admissions and administrative functions associated with international students applying to the University.
- lead the timely processing of applications received for international program offerings at UniSC to contribute to diverse international student growth;
- determine the eligibility of international student applicants in regard to admission requirements, enrolment processes, fees, scholarships, health insurance, Student visa requirements and risk, and related administrative matters;
- maintain professional currency in relation to international admission requirements including the Commonwealth Government’s simplified student visa framework (SSVF), The National Code (ESOS), and PRISMS; and
- act as the subject matter expert regarding the Australian Government’s genuine temporary entrant and genuine student criteria, with an ability to inform business rules in relation to UniSC’s risk rating.

You will possess:
- extensive experience in an International Admissions role in the Australian Higher Education sector;
- demonstrated aptitude with relevant University systems and databases;
- sound knowledge of the Australian Government’s simplified student visa framework (SSVF) and the genuine temporary entrant and genuine student criteria, the National Code (ESOS), and PRISMS; and
- proven ability to successfully lead and manage a team.
Desirable
- fluency in a language other than English and of significance to the University's recruitment strategy in South or South East Asia.
- expertise of and user experience with the StudyLink admissions system.
