Permanent Full Time - 35 hours, 5 days per weekSalary: $122,460.62 – $134,184.51 pa. + leaseback vehicle + super + CLA (open to negotiation)

The role of Coordinator Major Projects provides leadership, guidance, and support to the Major Projects Team for successful and effective delivery of major community infrastructure projects in the Liverpool Local Government Area. You and your team will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing a high performing team, fostering a collaborative environment, and inspiring the team to achieve targets.
Key responsibilities:
- Achieving “best value” investment in road, drainage, and floodplain infrastructure.
- Developing “best practice” asset and infrastructure solutions.
- Contributing to the analysis, evaluation, and planning of medium- and long-term civil assets and infrastructure options.
- Undertaking pre-tender/quotation WHS project Hazard Identifications and Risk Assessments of relative work activities.
- Monitoring the execution and completion of works to achieve required specifications, quality, safety, and environmental standards.
ABOUT YOU
The successful applicant will have:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with eligibility for Corporate Membership of the Institution of Engineers, Australia.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in similar role; local government experience will be looked upon favourably.
- Experience in the management of project and program works within budget, time and quality standards.
- Extensive experience in design, construction and maintenance of road and drainage infrastructure assets within the constraints of an urban environment
- Experience in developing budgets, policy, strategies, plans, and programs associated with the management of infrastructure assets.
