An exciting opportunity exists for a five (5) year fixed term full time Coordinator Plant and Workshops to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in Moranbah. The Coordinator Plant & Workshops manages plant assets (over 4,500kg) and the operations of the IRC’s workshops. The position provides asset management input to the Manager of Fleet for reporting purposes, assistance with forward planning, budgeting and scheduled replacement and disposal heavy plant; and management and coordination of fit for purpose heavy Plant and equipment to
internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualification in business or other relevant plant maintenance field is highly regarded (5+ years) in heavy plant management.
- Demonstrated financial management and budgetary skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and create a shared understanding of requirements in the work environment, with a focus on teamwork and achieving individual and organisation goals.
- Blue/White Card.
- The role requires the possession of a current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence
- Very attractive remuneration package, inclusive of housing and limited private-use vehicle
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
