As a Coordinator, Scholarships, you will:
- Plan, prioritise, and design HDR scholarship work and critical activities appropriately and recognise barriers to achieving outcomes, find effective ways to deal with them and evaluate progress.
- Collaborate closely with faculties, institutes, payroll, and Deakin Finance to successfully fulfill the requirements of the role.
- Identify and lead change within own area of responsibility and understand and communicate the reasons for the change.
- Seek feedback from a wide range of stakeholders including Research Grants and Business Development and Impact, Advancement, and others to clarify criteria for success and where and when advice and recommendation is required.
- Act as a coach and work with team members to facilitate growth and development by giving balanced and constructure feedback considering individual capability and team performance.
- Completion of a Degree with subsequent relevant work experience; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in a university environment,
- higher degrees by research or student services environment
- Experience with university governance and policy
- Experience in dealing with confidential materials and sensitive matters
