About the role:
An exciting opportunity is now available to join CITB as the Coordinator - Short Course Training and Compliance, responsible for the implementation, reporting and delivery of the Short Course Program whilst overseeing the Quality Assurance Framework. This is a leadership opportunity facilitating program delivery by working closely with Endorsed Training Providers (ETPs). The successful candidate will be able to provide high level customer service, administration, and program support.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure Short Course programs comply with budget requirements whilst maximising course delivery performance
- Promote and improve the Short Course Program whilst ensuring compliance with quality standards through the audit program
- Address and rectify non-compliant audit findings
- Pull, analyse and prepare Short Course performance reports for the Board
- Support the preparation and delivery of the CITB Annual Training Plan
- Develop program content and assess new Short Courses and Endorsed Trainer applications
- As a leader, contribute to the success of the business through facilitating collaboration, high performance and working with respect
- Proactively demonstrate a commitment to WHS, putting the safety of your co-workers, visitors, clients, and yourself first every time
- Measure program success and lead continuous improvement processes.
Essential:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards)
- Proactive leadership with a drive for continuous improvement
- Experience in the assessment and management of compliance to relevant legislation, standards, and best practice
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of programs, in particular Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
- Demonstrated understanding of SA’s education and training sector, including schools, RTO’s, and GTO’s.
- Engagement across diverse stakeholder groups and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, including report writing.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic team player with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team to maximise outcomes
- Work well under pressure and has a strong attention to detail whilst overseeing competing priorities.
Requirements:
- A satisfactory national criminal history check.
- Working with Childrens Check (WWCC)
