Your new role
  
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Student Success team as a Coordinator, Student as Partners. In this role you will work in partnership with students, advocate to have their voices heard, and support the development of our student leaders. As a part of Curtin’s Social Impact Hub, you will work on student-driven social impact projects, design learning resources, facilitate workshops and work across all areas of the university, collaborating with students and staff.
  
This position is a full time, fixed term 12-month contract.
  
In this role, you will:
  • Provide leadership and advocacy for Students as Partners at Curtin
  • Coordinate the Students as Partners Leadership Group and Community of Practice
  • Collaborate with students, staff, external partners, and the Leadership Group to establish and deliver Students as Partners initiatives and annual priorities across Curtin.
  • Engage in national and international Students as Partners knowledge-exchange activities.
  • Coordinate the Social Impact Hub’s Student Partnership initiatives.
  • Design and deliver Students as Partners resources, training and promotional materials for students and staff.
  • Support the Student Development Consultant (Leadership) in facilitating Leadership training to students.
  • Maintain currency of knowledge relating to Students as Partners, sustainability, social impact and leadership.
We are looking for (the ideal candidate):
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Advanced organisational skills.
  • Proficient in conducting needs analysis and crafting top-tier resources, programs, and services tailored for adult learners.
  • Experience in project management and supporting change management.
  • Experience with devising and executing processes and strategies to ensure exceptional program and service outcomes.
  • Broad understanding of UN Sustainable Development Goals (desired).
  • Experience working in the Higher Education sector (desired).
As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.
