The Role
We are seeking an Education Program Coordinator to actively contribute to our School Programs and provide essential leadership and support to the School Executive Team. The role involves assisting Leap student and academics in delivering the Leap Program efficiently, ensuing compliance with Department of Education requirements. Working closely with academics and the University, the coordinator plays a vital role in providing a seamless and positive experience for both students and staff throughout the Leap Program and other School of Education activities. This role supports the School's operations and delivering thorough and effective administrative coordination for Leap and academic staff activities. This ensures smooth administrative functions within the school.
Additionally, the role requires direct liaison with and support for international and domestic post-graduate candidates and relevant academic staff, including those in programs such as M1313, M1367 on-shore, M.Ed (Research), ITEXTEND and Dip - Ed merit select. Another key responsibility is supporting existing and building new education - focused partnerships with organisations such as the Department of Education, AISWA, CEOWA, ECE centres and primary/secondary schools.
What you'll bring to this role
- A degree with subsequent work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Computing skills and experience using word processing, spreadsheets and database software.
- Experience in managing and providing excellent staff/customer service.
- Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
