The incumbent is responsible for the development and maintenance of corporate relationships at the IR level in order to then leverage these corporate relationships when scheduling bespoke and group trips or when inviting corporates to Forums or Access Days.
This position collaborates in close partnership with our main corporate relationship holders, i.e. our research analysts and corporate finance bankers, to translate their networks of senior corporate relationships into Corporate Access for our investor clients.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:Being the firm’s point-person for Australia-product Corporate Access – both internally and externally.
Building and maintaining relationships with leading Australian corporations, mainly at the Investor Relations (IR) level – but in some cases also at the senior management / C-suite level.
Working in close coordination with our research analysts in Sydney to originate (physical and virtual) Corporate Access events, incl. Access Days, Thematic Tours and Non-Deal Roadshows.
Producing bespoke trips for investors to meet with corporates across Australia.
Driving the invitation process for Australian corporates to all relevant (physical and virtual) conferences and Access Days, incl. Australia-product Access Days and the firm’s Flagship Investors’ Forum in Hong Kong.
Working closely with regional Corporate Access team, Australia Research, Australia & Regional Sales desks as well as with other divisions to drive and coordinate scalable events, bespoke meetings and roadshows.
Schedule, support and join corporate pitch meetings, incl. annual corporate pitching trips of Global Corporate Access Head to Australia.
Ensure all relevant Corporate Access “best practice” processes are being applied in Australia, incl. those related to budget approvals, legal & compliance approvals, event logging and cost allocation - to ensure smooth event execution, communication and reporting.
Given the importance of the China product for our Australian buyside clients, our Head of Corporate Access, Australia, will always be expected to coordinate closely with our China Corporate Access team regarding all China product Corporate Access events, such as bespoke investor trips to China or Investor Group Tours taking place in China
Minimum of 4 years of Corporate Access / events experience in Investment Banking industry.
