Corporate Accountant

A growing national network of community-based private practices in Healthcare. After experiencing significant growth over the last few years, we are ready to have a Corporate Accountant join the team.

Key Responsibities

- Preparing and reconciling end of month financial transactions, including bank statements, journals, and accruals.
- Managing fixed assets and depreciation schedules, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Calculating and reporting fringe benefits tax (FBT) liabilities and preparing FBT returns.
- Developing and maintaining advanced excel skills, including macros, pivot tables, and formulas.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a medium to large organisation.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
