Altech Batteries Ltd is an ASX listed battery materials company with operations in Germany and Malaysia. Altech has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Accountant to join its operations on a part time (3 days per week) basis. Days and hours can be flexible to suit the incoming person’s requirements.

Key requirements of the role include:
- Maintenance of Pronto accounting software
- Timely completion of month-end closing process
- Monthly cash flow forecast
- Monitoring of AP function
- Payroll processing
- BAS, payroll tax, FBT and other regulatory lodgements
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Inter-entity recharge of incurred costs
- Assist with half year and year end audits
In addition, the successful candidate will perform other ad hoc tasks as required. This will include maintaining and ordering company supplies, maintaining relationship with external IT consultants, answering incoming phone calls and general office administration.
The Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- At least 2 years of experience as an accountant
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time and tasks as required.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team.
Candidates with experience with Pronto software will be viewed favourably, although this is not a prerequisite. Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
