Our client is an established, highly credentialed provider of corporate trust, intermediary and administration services to Australian and international fund managers, fintech businesses and other finance service providers.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Melbourne-based team in a Corporate Accounting role, gaining invaluable exposure to the holistic financial running of a leading Financial Service provider.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO over a 12-month fixed-term period, you will be responsible for the financial records of the business and its subsidiaries. You will provide interpretation and analysis of financial results for board reporting, as well as leading month-end processes, overseeing AR/AP/Payroll functions and liaising closely with external auditors.
You will additionally be engaged in bi-monthly cashflow forecasts, project management, as well as ad hoc support duties for the CFO and wider finance team through fee calculations and financial reviews.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4-5 years experience in a similar role - experience in the Financial Services industry strongly preferred.
- Relevant degree in Business/Commerce/Finance.
- CPA / CA qualified or actively working towards.
- Ability to work autonomously and independently solve problems.
