As a result of all this, the needs of our stakeholders and how we engage them continue to evolve.Roche is now looking for a Corporate Compliance Partner who will be responsible for supporting the affiliate with its Corporate Compliance framework to promote high standards of integrity and ensure alignment with internal and external policies and guidelines. Reporting to the Head of Legal & Ethics of Roche Pharmaceuticals Australia, this role fosters a compliance culture through training, monitoring and proactively addressing compliance issues, and leads projects to continually improve compliance processes and efficiency while adhering to regulations, laws and policies.Key responsibilities include;Healthcare Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with Roche global policies and directives as well as local laws and regulations including Medicines Australia Code of Conduct including transparency reporting.
- Ensure effective and efficient processes, policies and tools are in place to manage compliance; drive initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Responsible for managing the Affiliate wide risk and opportunity program within the Group Risk and Opportunity framework.
- Works across all Communities to build information compliance awareness and practices, and acts as a primary information compliance contact.
- Drives and supports information compliance initiatives such as data reduction or minimisation.
- Responsible for establishing, embedding and maintaining the BCM Program for the Affiliate including setting of BCM objectives, assigning responsibilities, implementing and embedding BCM in the Affiliate..
- Works in collaboration with the business to support compliance monitoring and reporting requirements.
- Implements, reviews and monitors adherence to the compliance framework for Australia focused on Corporate Compliance, in line with Corporate Policies and applicable local and global regulations.
- Performs compliance gap analyses and associated risk assessments.
- Tertiary qualifications preferably in law, accounting, finance, science, economics or business/commerce, CPA, CA or ACA qualifications would be an advantage.
- Sound professional experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology industry or medical device industry, preferably in a compliance function at a local, regional or global level.
- Experience in both compliance and risk management is preferred.
- Strong analytical and decision-making experience in a complex and changing environment.
- Strong communicator who speaks directly even on controversial issues and communicates in a concise and clear manner.
