About the Role
Our corporate finance and people & culture functions provide the support, advice and financial expertise that enables Tabcorp to achieves its vision and objectives. Supporting these functions is our Line 1 Risk & Compliance - Corporate team which identifies and manages risk, monitors compliance and ensures these functions understand their risk and legislative obligations. We're now recruiting a Risk & Compliance Manager to join us and lead the team.
As Risk & Compliance Manager - Corporate you'll partner with Finance and People & Culture leaders to manage risk and compliance activities across the portfolio. You'll also play a pivotal role in influencing Tabcorp's risk framework and culture, while also contributing to the achievement of Tabcorp's commercial objectives. More specifically, you will:
- act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, facilitating discussions and reporting to key committees;
- serve as a TRACS (risk and compliance system) subject matter expert, training users and ensuring data quality for effective risk reporting;
- embed Tabcorp's risk management framework within Finance and People & Culture, including incident analysis and managing risk registers;
- oversee risk framework elements and ensure completion of risk-related actions, including workshops and collaboration with stakeholders;
- ensure understanding and ownership of compliance obligations within Finance and People & Culture; and
- operationalize Finance and People & Culture processes to consistently align with Tabcorp's enterprise risk management framework.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be an accomplished risk management and compliance professional with the ability to lead, manage and mentor risk and compliance team members. You'll also possess:
- risk management, internal audit, compliance or consulting experience with a medium to large sized corporate organisation within a highly regulated industry;
- strong technical grasp of contemporary risk management processes and policies and a sound understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements;
- highly demonstrated experience in the delivery of new initiatives including stakeholder and change management.
- good commercial nous including excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and experience; and
- a strong customer focus and outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills which enable you to engage, influence and negotiate with a broad range of senior stakeholders.

Location
This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
