Salary: AUD 180,001 per year + Superannuation

Location: Melbourne, Victoria

Reports To: Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Based in Singapore

Overview:

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving business growth and operational excellence? Solutino Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced and visionary Corporate General Manager to join our team.

The Corporate General Manager is a senior executive role responsible for leading the company's expansion into the Australian market. This role requires a strategic and dynamic leader with extensive experience in establishing and growing the company's presence in a new region.

Responsibilities:

  1. Market Entry Strategy:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive market entry strategy for the Australian market.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, potential challenges, and competitive landscape.
    • Establish strategic partnerships and alliances to facilitate market entry and growth.
  2. Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and market share.
    • Build a strong network of industry contacts and stakeholders to support business development efforts.
    • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies tailored to the Australian market.
  3. Operational Management:
    • Oversee the establishment of local operations, including setting up offices, hiring staff, and implementing operational processes.
    • Ensure smooth and efficient operations by establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  4. Financial Oversight:
    • Manage the financial performance of the new market operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Ensure the company operates within budget and achieves financial targets.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks while exploring opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  5. Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing local management team.
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, investors, and regulatory bodies in Australia.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and public engagements.
    • Communicate corporate vision and strategic direction to internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Compliance and Governance:
    • Ensure the organization adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards in Australia.
    • Oversee risk management and compliance programs to protect the company's interests and reputation.
    • Ensure ethical business practices and maintain high standards of corporate integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of management experience, with a proven track record in market entry, business development, talent management and/or operational management. Experience in the Australian market is highly desirable.
