The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity within our Governance team for a dynamic Corporate Performance Officer who is dedicated to helping to drive business improvement and positive, meaningful change across the organisation.
To be successful in this role you will be passionate about promoting and embedding best practice improvement principles and applying change management techniques to make us a more efficient and effective organisation.
Reporting to the Team Leader Governance, the purpose of the role is to drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. The primary focus of this role will be using project management skills and experience to the implement projects flowing out of various improvement reviews across the business and to facilitate Council’s corporate reporting requirements.
The ideal candidate will have bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field or related discipline and demonstrated knowledge of corporate reporting principles, preferably in a Local Government environment, recent experience in business process improvement and corporate reporting, and experience in Lean, Kaisen, Six sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
To succeed in the role, you will have the ability to analyse issues from different perspectives, draw sound inferences from information available and to propose workable solutions, demonstrated project management and process improvement skills, and attention to detail and accuracy in work processes.

Annual salary of $79,088 to $90,165 (plus super). As of 1 July 2024, an annual Award increase of 3.5% will also apply to the base annual salary.
