The Role
As the Cost Controller, your pivotal role is to offer essential support to our Cost Engineer. You'll gather, organise, and meticulously analyse data, enabling the Snowy 2.0 Project to make strategic decisions that shape the trajectory of time and cost for this groundbreaking initiative.
Responsibilities include:
Adhering to project controls cesses and procedures for the Snowy 2.0 Project.
Performing cost control duties under the direction of the Cost Engineer.
Maintaining confidentiality around sensitive and confidential data and information.
Providing accurate and timely cost and performance reports to Snowy 2.0 management to enable monitoring and managing the project's budget.
Collaboration with the contractor to ensure all costs have been allocated correctly throughout the performance of the works.
Assisting the Cost Engineering in performing regular forecasting activities to ensure accuracy of the Projects forecast, and that it is in accordance with the Programme.
Supporting the successful delivery of the Project by providing timely reports and support to the broader Project Team.
You'll Bring To The Team:
A degree in Finance, Project Management, or relevant Cost Control training, backed by applicable experience. Showcasing your commercial savvy, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, you'll demonstrate a deep understanding and practical use of Cost Management systems. Your strong analytical and problem-solving abilities will be invaluable assets. With excellent business engagement skills, you'll adeptly communicate commercial matters to a diverse range of personnel, both verbally and in writing.
