The Governance and Legal Services Branch
This branch provides advice and support to the Mayor, Councillors, CEO and Council in relation to governance and legal matters. The sections within the branch comprise the following:
- Mayor, Councillors and CEO;
- Council Business;
- Legal Services;
- Local Laws and Policy Development;
- Internal Auditing;
- Complaints and Compliance;
- Insurance;
- Risk Management; and
- Administration.
This temporary full-time position (72.5 hrs/fn) is located in the Toowoomba CBD until end September 2025, with a possible 6 month extension. The salary range is $84,383.41-$87,970.19 plus up to 12.65% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading. We also offer:
