The Sydney Clinic is looking a Dialectical Behavioural Therapist (DBT) in a casual capacity. Ideally we seek a professional with an engaging interpersonal style and who is self-driven.
The position would suit a professional who is able to work competently and independently with diverse and complex cases.

Selection Criteria:
· Competent in the provision of DBT therapy and skills training within a group setting.
· Excellent interpersonal and writing skills
· An ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
· Demonstrate a reliable, timely, and professional manner
· Commitment to professional development, ethical standards and self-reflective practice
· Full registration with your governing body
· Competence in crisis management and delivery of crisis interventions
As a DBT Therapist your responsibilities will include:
· Providing DBT skills training for adults presenting with a range of psychiatric disorders accessing outpatient therapeutic programs of The Sydney Clinic.
· Providing consultancy to other members of the multidisciplinary team to maximise the efficacy of the clinical services through the development of productive and professional relationships.
Selection Criteria:
The successful candidate must have official qualifications / training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and experience in providing individual therapy, facilitating psych educational groups for inpatients and day patients, and will be expected to participate in group meetings and supervision/review sessions.
You will be expected to work effectively within a diverse multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of innovative programs. Advanced qualifications and expertise in a particular therapeutic model are welcomed.
