Counsellor And Psychotherapist - Early & Experience Practitioners!

Allied Health 2U is currently seeking a Counsellor/ Psychotherapist to join their team as a part time/full time employee. You will be part of a rapidly growing team consisting of multiple disciplines (Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, Podiatrists, Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists) that are passionate and dedicated to improving the lives of others. Key Responsibilities:

As a Counsellor/ Psychotherapist, you will:

-Conduct client assessments and ongoing therapy
-Be involved in the treatment and management of general and complex conditions
-Be able to solve both clinical and non-clinical problems in day to day work
-Be flexible and able to work across various settings such as community and/or clinic
-Be prepared to complete professional development activities and apply the knowledge to various clinical situations
-Be confident in your clinical reasoning skills across a variety of presentations
-Be involved in liaising with multiple stakeholders regarding client care
-Liaise with other Allied Health 2U team members regarding client care management

Key Requirements:

To be successful in the role of a Counsellor/ Psychotherapist, you will:

-Demonstrate a passion for continuing to learn and grow in both clinical and non-clinical settings
-Demonstrate a willingness to progress your career
-Have strong written communication skills
-Be able to work independently
-Be confident in your role while being open to feedback
-Have current ACA or PACFA registration
-Have a current driver's license and your own car
-Have current Professional Indemnity Insurance, a Working With Children Check and a National Criminal Record Check
