Our client is a leading supplier of quality equipment products in the FMCG sector.
They source, assemble, and manufacture a wide range of products that meet the needs of people within the farming and veterinary industries. They have wholly-owned businesses across core Southern Hemisphere markets, and provide services and export markets through distributor partners. In addition, the company has a resilient supply chain that provides a competitive advantage and focus on identifying sustainable and scalable solutions.
Due to recent changes the company is on an ambitious trajectory of growth in the Australian market. To drive results and add a level of sophistication to their operations, a new position of Country Manager has been created and will drive B2B and B2C sales across all channels. Responsible for 3 new territory managers with specialist industry experience, the Country Manager will focus on leading Business Development, Key Account management, Field sales and Customer Service teams. Delivering on market execution the position reports to the CEO and will be hands on as well as strategic. The role will be responsible for introducing an advanced level of reporting, operations and structure to further enhance market presence.
Suitable candidates will have proven leadership ability and be results driven. You will be highly motivated, have strong relationship management skills and be able to successfully drive the alignment of business process and excellence. You will ideally have relevant industry experience or knowledge, or come from a FMCG background or similar. Importantly, you will need to be hands on to work in a small business environment and bring the team on the journey. You will have an evidence based approach, be a comfortable dealing with high levels of detail, analysing figures and be an advanced user of Excel.
