About The Role:
- Sorting and distribution of pathology supplies and reports to clients
- Collection and delivery of specimens and samples
- Professional representation of Hobart Pathology
- Maintain workplace safety
- Compliance with OH&S standards
- Apply quality systems and continuous improvement processes
- Maintain equipment
- Short notice cover for shifts Monday to Friday, weekends and public holidays.
Selection Criteria:
- Unrestricted Australian driver’s license with an exemplary driving record
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Flexibility to cover varying shift times including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- A pleasant disposition and ability to present in a professional and confident manner with a commitment to service excellence
- Knowledge of hazardous goods handling and quality control techniques
- The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment as well as autonomously without direct supervision
- Good technological knowledge including sound computer literacy skills and competence with a variety of software programs
- Physically able to carry out the demanding manual elements of this role
