About the team
The Creative and Content (C&C) team forms an integral part of TEQ’s marketing division whilst also serving as the global organisation’s in-house creative agency. Responsible for bringing the Queensland brand to life, C&C delivers compelling consumer-facing Creative and Content across TEQ’s owned and paid channels. In addition, C&C supports TEQ’s diverse business units to craft content that serves their B2B and B2C requirements, all while ensuring brand integrity as trusted brand guardians.

About the role
The Creative and Content Specialist provides end-to-end content support for the business globally from content planning to content development, production, implementation and optimisation for B2C and B2B audiences.

This is a very fast-paced and multi-faceted role that requires both a strategic eye to ensure content is supporting TEQ’s business objectives as well as delivering and managing content that connects with consumers across campaigns and owned channels. The role is responsible for the project management of content across the marketing experiences, destinations and events, in both domestic and international markets.


Key duties:

  • Audit content across traditional and digital channels including websites, social media, email as well as across form factors such as copy, graphics, video and rich media.
  • Maintain a strategic and commercial view on projects while managing feedback from stakeholders in fast and sometimes high-pressured environments. 
  • Prioritise briefs and manage workloads to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Produce and manage content including, but not limited to website, EDM, and video for both business-as-usual and campaign-related projects based on audience needs, TEQ business objectives, usability and SEO.
  • Interpret and apply consumer trends, research results, website analytics and digital strategies to develop and optimise content.
  • Liaise, foster and maintain relationships with agency partners, key suppliers and industry partners.

For this role, we will consider your: 

  • Ability to interpret and apply consumer trends, research results, website analytics, SEO principles and Content strategies to develop and optimise content.
  • Demonstrated ability to source and produce effective and innovative content including editorial, images and video, plus a strong ability to write and edit copy in brand tone of voice.
  • Experience using a CMS, project management tools, DAM system and creative software. 
  • Experience working with strategic partners to implement large multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience creating content calendars, conducting content audits, making strategic content recommendations and Content plans.
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to manage project budgets and multiple projects to meet short deadlines.
