About The Role
The Perks Banking & Finance Team provide finance advisory services to help clients secure competitive rates and terms for business, home, and equipment loans. As the Credit Analyst, you will join a collaborative team who provide expert advice tailored to each clients’ specific needs.
The Credit Analyst plays a key role in building and maintaining long lasting relationships with our clients. You will work closely with the Relationship Managers, who will provide tools and training to develop your skillset towards Relationship Manager (Mortgage Broker) over time.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of financial & credit data including reference checks, credit ratings, and application forms to develop financial strategies & recommendations
- Package loan applications to lenders, tailored to suit each client’s personal and business needs
- Assess risks & opportunities for clients through financial modelling and analysis
- Prepare concise and logically sound credit applications for clients across both residential & commercial
- Manage the portfolio in collaboration with the Relationship Manager, including pipelines, client reviews, leads, and client interactions
- Completion of Cert IV or Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Broking Management (desirable)
- 1-2+ years of experience in the Finance Broking or Banking industry
- Sound understanding of financials & tax returns for self-employed financial structures (desirable)
- Ability to grasp complex transactions & identify risks and benefits
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude including a high degree of self-motivation and proactive approach to work
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to build a network of connections & build rapport quickly
