The Company:Our client is a private investment firm specialising in value-add and repositioning opportunities within the real estate sector. With a focus on both equity and debt investments, offering comprehensive real estate investment and management services. Operating across multiple offices in Asia-Pacific and Europe.
The Role:Reporting to the Head of Debt, you will play a vital role in analysing and facilitating real estate transactions across the capital stack. While this role primarily involves credit analysis, you will also gain exposure to various aspects of deals, fostering a deep understanding of real estate investment and financing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of real estate transactions, including property valuations, cash flow projections, and return on investment calculations.
- Research market trends, demographics, and competition to identify investment opportunities and evaluate market risk factors.
- Oversee due diligence processes for potential transactions, reviewing legal documents, property records, and environmental reports.
- Assist in structuring real estate transactions, negotiating terms, financing arrangements, and legal agreements.
- Support the execution of real estate transactions from initiation to completion, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless closing process.
- Contribute to managing the company's real estate portfolio, monitoring performance, conducting asset reviews, and identifying opportunities for value enhancement.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field.
- 1- 4 years' experience in credit, investment banking, valuations, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of real estate investment principles, market analysis, and transaction processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
