The opportunity
We currently have multiple full-time roles available to join our Sydney Credit Analyst team. This role would be suited to someone that is energetic, enthusiastic and who enjoys working as part of a team. You will need to have excellent Customer Service, strong analytical and written and verbal communication skills for this role.
The key responsibilities include:
- Assessing and recommending mortgage loan applications within policy
- Ability to read property valuations and quantity surveyors reports
- Attend to phone and email enquiries from Mortgage brokers, BDMs and customers in a professional, timely manner
- Managing credit risk, and ensuring all credit policies and guidelines are maintained and applied to appropriate decisions
- Demonstrating due diligence and attention to detail; reviewing and extracting information from documentation, such as income & financial statements, trust deeds and identification documents, to confirm creditworthiness.
- Providing outstanding and professional customer service to our referral partners, customers and internal stakeholders
- Building strong and mutually beneficial relationships with our referral partners, customers, internal & external stakeholders
- Ensuring business Service Level Agreements are adhered to and, where possible, exceeded.
About you:
- A degree in a business-related field, or previous experience in the banking/finance industry is preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience or a strong interest in mortgage lending will be advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify discrepancies within data
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team, in a high-pressure work environment
- Ability to provide solutions & problem solve
- Demonstrated computer literacy and strong numerical knowledge
- Excellent time management
- Used to working under pressure to meet/exceed KPIs
