Form of workOur client is a leader in the Insurance industry and are looking to bring in a new Credit Analyst to join a bright and vibrant team.

We are seeking either a recent graduate or a candidate who has 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.You will be joining an already well-established company within the insurance space. Primary Responsibilities:
• Cultivate relationships with residential building clients ranging from small to large, predominantly in Victoria and South Australia, with potential expansion to other states.
• Assess and manage underwriting for a portfolio of residential construction clients, encompassing annual turnovers ranging from $1 million to $100 million+.
• Ensure fulfillment of all risk underwriting service commitments, including meeting timelines, turnaround times, and notice periods.
• Conduct accurate and timely credit assessments for a growing portfolio of residential builders, covering annual renewals, new applications, and interim assessments as necessary.
• Assist in specifying departmental requirements for IT developments, contributing to testing processes when required.
• Generate various exposure reports as specified.
• Manage queries, corrections, amendments, and communicate decisions, overseeing the underwriting database and facilitating meetings with builders and intermediaries.
• Develop and maintain expectations and relationships with brokers and clients.
• Communicate with brokers and clients through phone, email, and face-to-face meetings as necessary.
Successful Candidate:
• Hold a business-based Degree qualification or possess equivalent industry experience.
• Prior experience in an insurance or administration role highly regarded
• The role will look at recent graduates or candidates with 2-3 years' experience
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as evidenced in your current role.
• Have a strong eye for detail and an analytical way of thinking
