The role
We currently have an opportunity for a Credit Control Officer to join our national Credit Control team, to be located in our Adelaide office. Responsibilities in this role include contacting the firm's clients through both written and verbal communication to negotiate and monitor payment arrangements, ensuring the provision of an efficient, effective and timely Credit Control service whilst maintaining positive relationships.
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar role, although we are open to training candidates who have a transferable skillset and a willingness to learn. Individuals with a confident and positive attitude, with excellent communication skills and a results-driven work ethic will be highly valued.
We require:
- well-developed written and oral communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and communicate at all levels, including with partners and management
- the ability to work under pressure, deal with competing demands and meet tight deadlines utilising effective time management skills
- a high level of initiative and problem solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a team environment
- the ability to build positive relationships both internally and externally
- the drive to achieve positive results and a pro-active attitude
While not essential, experience within the legal or professional services industry will be well regarded.
