Job description:
Gliderol Garage Doors is one of Australia's largest manufacturers and distributors of sectional, roller doors & operators. Gliderol has a well-established business with a strong brand name and market position. The company is a significant Australian employer and has manufacturing facilities located throughout the country.
THIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: OUR OPPORTUNITY
The role aims to optimize cash flow and mitigate the risk of bad debts for the business. It involves making credit decisions for all branches and ensuring top-tier customer service to sustain revenue and profit growth while minimizing risks.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Establishment of customer credit accounts, including terms, limits, reference checks, and post-approval communication.
- Manage customer account inquiries via phone, fax, and email.
- Support Accounts Receivable and offer training to Customer Service and Accounts Receivable staff as needed.
- Application of cash, EFT and cheque receipts to customer accounts
- Preparation and distribution of monthly customer statements
- Reconciliation of customer accounts and dispute resolution as necessary
- Negotiate payment plans as needed and communicate them to customers, branch staff, and senior management.
YOUR SKILLS
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar position.
- Ability to maintain and update Policies and Procedures
- Ability to lead and work as an individual and in a team
- High level of written, oral and interpersonal skills
