We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Credit Controller to join a dynamic team here at Robert Walters. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a portfolio of 120-150 clients with ranging complexity. What you'll do:
As a Credit Controller at Robert Walters, you will play a crucial role in managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collections. You will maintain strong relationships both internally and externally through regular contact and excellent service. Working collaboratively with the finance team, you will strive to achieve targets while identifying potential risks and escalating issues where necessary.
- Management of accounts within the debtors system to ensure that any falling beyond acceptable payment terms are promptly contacted and any in arrears and cleared as effectively as possible
- Dealing with all correspondence via phone and email effectively
- Identify potential risks and escalate issues where necessary
- Provide regular reports on collection activities and progress
- Be a true business partner with a solutions driven approach to all clients and consultants
- Working as part of a team to ensure success in the collection of payments while working within internal policies and government legislation.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Credit Controller role will bring proven experience from a similar role working with commercial, B2B Credit control. You will possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will assist you in your daily tasks. Your ability to work collaboratively within a team environment will be key to your success in this role. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience preferred, but not essential includes:
- Knowledge of D365 Accounting system
- Experience with a variety of vendor management systems
- Understanding of a recruitment/payrolling environment overtime rate etc
