Reporting to a Credit Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of commercial accounts nationwide, working on 7-day trading terms
- Conducting collection activities for overdue commercial accounts, including making 45 outbound calls per day
- Reconciling client accounts and handling phone and email queries
- Collaborating with internal staff to resolve customer queries and escalate issues when necessary
- Providing weekly and month-end reporting as per business requirements
To succeed in this role, ideally you will have:
- Minimum of 12 months collections experience in a high-volume, fast-paced credit environment (consumer or commercial)
- Experience within the FMCG/distribution sectors is advantageous, but not essential
- Ability to efficiently resolve matters and work in a fast-paced team environment to meet targets and achieve goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
