Responsibilities:
Monitor current and emerging trends in the Credit Risk Portfolio as well as across the banking sector.
Assess impacts of such risk trends on the credit portfolio performance.
Maintain risk appetite and limits setting.
Prepare Credit Risk reporting to key stakeholders (eg. Credit Committee, Risk Committee, the Board, APRA, Rating Agencies etc.)
Support the broader Credit Risk strategies and process optimisation initiatives.
Ensure ongoing compliance and controls are in line with regulatory standards
Lead a small team of analysts and senior analysts.
Requirements:
5+ years of Credit Risk management experience in banking.
Strong understanding of APRA prudential standards, risk management frameworks and compliance requirements.
Experience with RWA calculations is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills and analytical skills.
