Credit Team Leader | $115,000 Package

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Credit Team Leader to provide essential support as the Credit Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining credit standards, ensuring exceptional customer service, and mentoring junior staff.

• Lead and motivate Credit Team to manage credit risk and minimise bad debts
• Ensure Credit Policies and Procedures are adhered to
• Initial Escalation point, ensuring all queries are resolved in a timely manner and referred to Credit Manager as required
• Liaising with insurance brokers to effect cancellation of funded policies where necessary
• Maintaining the debtors ledger within policy guidelines to ensure team are meeting monthly KPI's
• Provide assistance to the Credit Manager with auditing, month end reporting
• Assisting with training and development of new staff
• Providing excellent customer service through assisting clients to resolve their queries
• Working within the sales team to assist and facilitate the collection of amounts
• Understanding of Consumer Credit Laws
• Other ad-hoc duties as required.

• Proficiency in maintaining an in-depth knowledge of company products and credit processes

• Demonstrated leadership skills at a high level
• Experience in the insurance/financial industry, with preference given to those with previous senior credit control experience
